Home Learning at Dormers Wells High School
Home learning is any work or activity which students are asked to do outside of a lesson. Home learning should support classroom learning as well as develop and enhance independent learning.
Aims
Home learning should aim to:
- Extend and support the learning experience in the classroom.
- Reinforce the interaction between teachers, students and home.
- Help to develop autonomous, independent learners.
All students are issued with a home learning diary to record their home learning.
